I never had a blog before, I’ve always being intimidated by this medium of communication for some reason. I thought of a blog of some kind of online diary so, more for curiosity than anything else, I decided to give it a try!
I’m heading toward the weekend with mixed feeling… I have two children, one of whom is 4 and 1/2 years old and just finished his summer camps. It has been a great experience for him and I’m glad I was able to provide it to him. However we still have one full week before the beginning of the school and I will have to come up with some sort of entertainment for the next 8 days or so. I don’t usually mind it, but this time of the year is particularly challenging since my company’s fiscal is ending and I need to get all the books ready.
My daughter for now is happily setup at child care and that gives me some room to manage my son activities: I found the pre-school years very challenging for parents, but I’m also sure that at some point I’m going to miss them. I already have great memories of my son’s year in JK and it seems that all bad memories have been erased somehow — isn’t it amazing how quickly do we forget?
As I was saying today is Friday, so time to wrap this day up and enjoy the weekend!
